Los meteoros

Dos rectas paralelas son aquellas que siguen
un camino identico sin encontrarse nunca
De modo que la una va a donde la otra
en un desconocimiento mutuo
Un riel que ignora la existencia del otro
La orilla de un rio que camina sedienta al encuentro
del mar sin saber de su igual ni
pretenderlo
O de la piedra que cae al estanque y propala en el agua
su secreto en ondas que tienden a ahogarse
mientras decidida la piedra camina hacia el fondo
Y tal vez les desconsuele
Los planetas del sistema solar giran en movimientos
identicos en torno a su estrella
Y la luna alrededor de la tierra

Por suerte sin embargo
Existen otros cuerpos celestes de movimiento
mas anarquico
Si me permiten la expresion
Como los meteoros
Que son piedras luminosas que no temen el choque
con los planetas
Tan frios ellos
O las mismas estrellas

Meteors

Parallel lines follow an identical course without ever meeting
Where one goes so goes the other in mutual ignorance
A rail that ignores the existence of the other track
A riverbank thirsting for its meeting with the sea without knowing its equal or caring to
Or the stone falling into the pond and spreading in the water its secret waves that have a tendency to vanish while determined the stone progresses towards the bottom
And maybe leaves them disconsolate
The planets of the solar system revolve in identical motion around their star
And the moon around the earth

Luckily however
There exist other celestial bodies of more anarchic movement
If you will allow me the expression
Such as meteors
Bright stones unafraid to clash with planets
So cold-hearted

Or the selfsame stars
